I was camping in Sequoia and had a bear knock my motorcycle over. Broke a turn signal.

My dog can't see deer! I am sure of this. She can see chipmunks, squirrels, turtles, birds and other dogs but not deer. She can sense another dog 100 yards away through the woods, yet can't see the deer standing 15 yards away in an open front lawn or one 10 yards away in Ault Park.

Now that's what scares the heck out of me. There is some one here, when they were hanging solo in AZ ( had been unable to hook up with a bunch of HF folks ), reached out to get there water bottle and grabbed a skunk! Got sprayed!

When I was hanging in my Claytor/Pea Pod last fall in Idaho, 1st night, just after I fell soundly asleep something bumped me. Left my hammock just barely swaying. I saw nothing, managed to go back to sleep soundly till after sun rise.
