Still on the fence with family shenanigans. Hoping to make it, in Sat. & out Sun. Hope it's not an issue.

Is wood allow to be brought in? If so, I'd be willing to hump some in.

My new 0* TQ & UQ arrived today! Sweet !!

I went to buy the rabbit and the goat, but after the holidays, all they had in stock was frozen. So now I have two frozen solid rabbits thawing in the kitchen, along with about 4 lbs of frozen cubed goat meat. Looks like a Moroccan Goat Stew instead of roast goat shoulder! Oh well!

Are last minute hangers welcome? I'm down here in the Soviet Socialist Republic of New Jersey ....... And my schedule just freed up for the weekend. I have absolutely no culinary skills, but I'm open to providing any store bought items needed by the group!
The camping hammock lends luxurious comfort and solitude to that which would otherwise be a vulgar frolic in the dirt.

One of the early pages said that all wood is being provided by the campground

Great, gotta see it. I ordered one also.
I don`t think mine will be here for the ADK hang next month. It looks Hammock Gear is swamped right now.

Turns out that I was shipped 2 TQs by mistake and no UQ. No problem, I have other UQ stuff to layer on, although it shouldn't matter too much if I use a Supershelter, as planned.

Rabbits and the Goat meat are still frozen solid. Going to try to defrost them in the microwave and do some pre-cooking . All my gear is all over the place. Just going to toss everything in the truck and root for it when I get there. Everything anyone could need is in the truck. Really. It is.

Bought 10 lbs of potatoes and will grate 5 lbs for home fries for breakfast Sat AM. Got 1/2 dz eggs, a qt of milk and a pound of butter just 'cause. Couple loaves of bread. Also making roast potatoes with salsa and diced tomatoes like the Spring Hang.

Trying to figure out a decent recipe for the goat stew. Should be interesting.

See you in the morning sometime!

====>. See my post above John. I was shipped 2 TQS by mistake, and no UQ. Will have to use existing stuff. Adam and Jenny are good folks, not to worry!
