To find coordinates with Google maps. Open Google, then maps. Then you need to look for Map labs. It is usually on the bottom of the left pane next to "help". Click on Map labs and then you will get a bunch of choices. I use LatLng Tooltip. Enable that and when you go to the location on the map with your cursor hit the shift button and you should get the lat/long for the location.
