    I have slept quite nicely well below freezing with a 1/4" ccf. And down to -26* C with a double layer.

    You guys do alot of cold weather stuff, me I may go down to 30F and that's rare.

    what about the pads that have the silver on one side and rubber on the other are they just as good or do ya need more padding just asking

    That is my wife's from about 3 years ago, which she has used for 4-5 nights. It is a prolite model.
