One must make 50 posts before being allowed to sell something in the "for sale"?

I am attempting to sell a hammock but I get an error message stating that one must first post 50 messages to the group first??? This sounds curious, What is the purpose of this?

Don't make Angrysparrow mad trying to fatten up your post count. It's to keep people from joining the forums just to sell things

i believe you need the same 50 to buy from the for sale as well, not 100% on that.

50 posts are not required to buy in the for sale forum.

I can confirm this...as well as pad my account (LOL)...I have bought from several members...received very good service and the stuff was as advertised...made me very happy!

I don't yet have enough good stuff tone selling any of it!

I´m also shy. And would have some interesting things to sell in Europe. Maybe time to introduce myself? Though I don´t think I can contribute something substantial...
