First Night in a hammock

I received my wbbb today and I have set up in the back yard! I have never slept in a hammock before and I am ready for my conversion. I'm using a 1/2" walmart blue pad and a 50 degree sleeping bag. Its supposed to get down to about 38 tonight... wish me luck!

Wear some thermals, have a fleece blanket handy. 38 in a 50 degree rated bag could get chilly. Good on you for back yard testing to see how it works out.

1+ on the fleece...love the stuff when the temps outside are a bit chilly for the rating of the sleep system!!

I'm jealous ! I had to look at my order today and only 9 days have passed. Feels like a month.

Good luck! Just remember there is a learning curve so don't be discouraged if it does not go smoothly. It helps to set up with the foot end higher than the head end.
