Talking New HH on the way!

Well, after borrowing a mate's for a try-out, I have ordered my HH Explorer Deluxe Asym Classic with Hex fly.
Super excited. My wife doesn't understand (yet), so thought I would share here.
It is my first hammock, and I hoping it will be gentle

Congrats. And yes it will be gentle. Hennessy was my first camping hammock 'lo those many years ago. It was quick and easy to set up and learn how and where to lay. And it is still going strong after LOTS of nights sleeping and days lounging. You should be very pleased and happy with it.

I love my Hennessy. I have the hex fly but haven't used it yet. It's so much bigger and heavier than my little diamond shape fly. I still don't sleep very well in the woods, but I sleep better in my hammock than on the ground.

Thanks all - very exciting and just waiting on delivery now. Yeah, I'm actually getting both tarps - the standard and the hex - and will select which one based on the weather forecast and activity etc.
I love bushwalking, but have stopped because back injuries - and generally getting older - means I can sleep on the ground for a night, but I'm not doing anything the next day.
So using a hammock is a re-invigoration of an old love.
    ...roll-on the delivery 8-)

I too have both tarps and have only used the asym not the hex. Managed to stay dry in the worst weather this summer, blowing rain coming from the end, no problem.
