    well i finished my UQ

    no i don't have a hammock yet LOL!!! thats next it is made out of a sleeping bag rated 0-5 deg c

    Great way to create an under quilt. I had plans to do the same, glad you got there first, it showed me I was not insane. Well Ok, not about the quilt.

    Cool! I was thinking of doing this myself. I have a couple of Walmart bags I can sacrifice. I was considering sewing(which will be a challenge cause I don't know how to sew) channels around all four sides of the bag after I cut it in half. Then running shock cord down the channels. I've been looking for a thread on converting an old bag into a UQ but haven't found it yet.
