The UL version should be good for someone up to 225lbs.

The standard version will be available in 1.1oz & 1.9oz in both single and double layer versions. Maybe a 2.6oz Poly Crinkle taffeta also. So we've got the big fellas covered too.

Man cant wait to check this out. Thats a sweet weight.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

    No bridge at this time.

Here are my goals with the 2 different versions of this hammock:

Darien UL - a truly lightweight integrated net hammock that doesn't compromise on features.

Darien - A simple, quick setup, integrated net hammock that is more suitable for cost conscience buyers, new hangers, Scouts, etc. I've got the Single Layer Darien hammock down to around $108 now and am shooting for a final price of $99. To do this I will limit the fabric weights and color options to keep the price lower.

By the way - This is not "a hammock design that is going to, Blow Your Mind!"
Just a simple hammock folks that offers some things I can't get with the RoamingGnome & DangerBird.

The hammock body is based off the tutorial I posted awhile back here. http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=55744

I'm not specifically bringing anything to sell, but if I sell any of the demo models, I won't have to carry them down to Harpers Ferry on Sunday.

Whatever I bring home will go up for sale on the Dream Hammock site as demos.

Now that's just wrong teasing us with these techno ultra lite specs and no pics to go along with it.
Life looks better from a BIAS hammock.
