Tylenol (acetaminophen) is not an anti-inflammatory, but ibuprofen is. Unless you have gastric issues, like an ulcer, or are prone to bleeding or have renal issues, ibuprofen is the best choice.

Seems like every time I have been out within the last few years I end having to bail for one reason or another. Usually it is a case of the barfs and runs. I know TMI. The thing is... it is what it is. So +1 on the make the best of what you had. Happens to every one at one point or another.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I was a total wreak after my first hike in years a couple of years ago. Multiple blisters, cramps and just exhuasted. Since then I've tried to make it a point of acclimating slowly prior to the big hike.

For aches and pains: epsom salt in a bath as hot as you can stand.
