And yes I prefer scenery to people. I also didn't make it around to alot of the people's setups.

Jason, your cooks are a hard-headed lot. Especially the skinny one.

    Thanks again, guys.

That event was worth every mile it took to get there. The people were great; the food was fantastic, and so much of it that if you walked away hungry; that was your own fault. Swamp Sloth, Granger and Old River Rat as good as you guy’s can cook it’s a wonder ya’ll don’t weigh 500 pounds. Oldgringo’s coffee first thing in the morning really helped get the day started. And even if Jazilla does think his brother Millerville (Jamie) did talk the most, it would have not been as entreating and enjoyable without it; he kept me laughing the whole time. This was the first hang I have been to and ya’ll have really set the bar high for ya’ll being able to top it! Plus I want to say let’s here it for our two super trooper young ladies that stayed even after that copper head was found in their camp site. When I saw the setup that tbctx had on the one by the cooking area, I told myself THAT is what you have been trying to come up with. Thank you Tim, I just wish my close up pictures of it had come out better, but I have the concept now. Sorry for the subject jumping rambling but there is SOOOO much that took place that all I can say is thank you everyone and if you weren’t there, you miss a great time.
My ego said, SURE you can.

Tim it was a real shame I didn't get to visit more with you. Its always nice to hear the stories and adventures of a traveling man.

Bald Cypress, I am sorry I didn't break myself away to check out that Clark you got. Now you got no choice but to make the next one for me.

I would say that the 2nd Annual Louisiana Fall Hang was a success. Thanks to Ryan (Granger) for helping me with the hog roasting. It was the first time I have used a cajun microwave. Troy's (Swampsloth) dirty rice and Karen's bean salad topped it off nicely. Thank you Dave (Oldgringo) for the coffee. My new friend Guy (Guyz) with the Orion cooker . . . Thank you for a delicious chicken that was served along with the pig.

I know that I will be getting a kayak to paddle the bayous around here. I had a chance to see some for the first time. I hope to see some pictures posted of the paddling Saturday.

I am grateful for the fun and fellowship, the old friends that I saw, and the new friends that I made. I cannot remember all the names so you have to come back so I can learn them. We are planning a Spring event in February or March.

Here are a few pictures that I took.
