Using loops for warbonnet style bungie spreader

    Hey guys,
Clark puts loops on the 4 corners of the hammock, and I was wondering if anyone has used them to install bungie spreaders, similar to the ones warbonnet and hennesy use for their hammocks? I've never seen or heard of it done, but seems like an easy mod, and would help spread out the bugnet if you don't have poles.

On the model's with the hoops it isn't necessary, on the others it might do some good, but no one complains about them pulling in too close.
I use the loops on my NX250 to help support an UQ.

I often wondered about those hoops but never really figured out what they are truly for.

I added small eyelets to my Frontline in about the same location that the Clark tieouts are because I thought I would like to spread the hammock bed a little. After a couple of uses I decided I didn't gain much in the way of comfort and got tired of the extra lines which also inhibit the sway factor which I enjoy. So...don't use them anymore.
But, the Frontline does have spreaders for the top of the bugnet which the Clark NA does not and that does keep the bugnet away from the face. If the bugnet is bothersome, tieouts may help.
