Consider tri-cams as well. Wider range of cracks can be covered by fewer tri-cams. Less to carry, more versatile, easier to remove. Good luck and take pics.

Before the advent of modern climbing gear, climbers would gather various sized stones and carry them in their pockets to wedge in cracks and tied off with rope or webbing for protection, and became known as chock stones. Obviously, those stones had to be carefully selected, as one's life depended on their ability to hold in case of a fall. The dynamic forces involved with a fall are considerably more extreme than those involved with a simple hang.
