Well I spend 25 minutes after 12:25 am and another 25 minutes at 4:00 am and didn't see anything ... even faintly. Clear at Midnight with a few whispy clouds at 4 am. Oh well ...

Laid out in the WBRR from 4:30-5:30 and saw 12. Light pollution here too.
I set the hammock up at the local state park campground and took my youngest daughter. Had a campfire and marshmallows, then laid in the hammock and managed to see several last night before she finally fell asleep.
We saw meteors from MAHHA! At 3 am Sunday morning, Oh-No, BearChaser, Merry-Mary, Ferret, and myself night hiked a half mile down to the parking lot and put out mats, chairs, blankets, and sat for the show. FireFly and Dewayne Sr. soon joined us. Not tons of meteors, but enough to make it interesting and a few REAL streaks across the sky to make everyone oooohhhh and aaaahhh. We watched until about 5 am.

Camped out with the Hennessy in north Texas near the red river... spent some time looking for shooters around 9:00 p.m. and then again at 5:30 a.m. but never saw anything.
I got my son out of bed and drove out to Jordan Lake. Between 2 and 4 in the morning we saw a couple dozen two or three were pretty impressive. Best part of it was dude time with my boy...
i hiked into a local state forest with a lake in it.i got everything all set up ,but when it got dark the lights from a local city took all my planning and turned it to .......the lake was nice ,.but i really wanted to see the shower.
I watched til about 3:30am Sunday morning with my husky. Sky would get clear then cloud over and clear again. I saw about 6 of them. One just luked like a bunfh of flames going thru the sky, not really like the other meteors. I took the opportuninity to try out the underquilt i made from some outdoor fabrick from Hancock Fabric (14.99 a yard, but i used a 50% off coupon). Got down to 48 degrees or so and i was still good.
