    Retired in SC

Hi all! I'm recently-retired military living on my Army pension in South Carolina. With this limited budget in mind, I researched this forum and all other resources I could find to determine a low-cost hammock that I could afford AND be of sufficient quality and features that I wouldn't have to buy a new hammock in the next year or so. I found the Hammock Bliss NoSeeUmNoMore for $80 and ordered it. I'm still awaiting its arrival (actually, it hasn't even shipped after almost two weeks!....frustrating). in the meantime, I'm learning SO MUCH on HF! Thanks to all of you who are contributing your wealth of knowledge and experience!

Welcome from Irmo, all the way across the Dam!

If you have any questions that my limited experience can answer, ask away! Love to know more locals!
I used to be a somebody, now I just camp.

¡Hola! from Columbia! I'm relatively inexperienced to hanging myself, but it's good to know there are fellow hammockers in close proximity.
