Just ordered my superfly and I need to know what else to order to hang it? I think I want to go without continuous ridgeline as I believe is recommended by WB.

Actually, WB recommends a seperate RL for the Superfly. I have used both, I like the CRL for its ease, but I found that by using a sererate RL and Dutch Stingerz that my tarp pitches tighter more consistantly. And I also found that there really wasn't much fussing to center the tarp either.
Both methods work, and work well. I personally found that the CRL was easier if the distance between the trees stayed consistant from hang to hang, but if the distance changed much, the Stingerz were the way to go. YMMV.
All, I can say is try one and if you like it, stick with it, if you don't or feel the need to tinker (and I do ) then try the other.
Hey Philszone-
I agree, the Dutch Stingerz make hanging the SuperFly easier. I simply attach the Stingerz to the existing ridgeline ring and loop around the tree back to the Stingerz. Adjustments are easy. You will need (4) tie out lines for each corner-there are several methods of doing this some involve some sort of shock absorber-use the search tool to locate these threads. Be sure you angle you corner lines to get a taut pitch on the wall & door side of the tarp. No ridge line is required for the SuperFly. You also need (4) lines for the doors. I have used shock cord and (4) more lines are required for the pull-outs- if you opt to use them. I nice weather I tie the doors together underneath the tarp. I have recent installed a 2QZQ pole mod and really like it. The pole opens up some nice space and provides needed rigidity in the weather. I also have snake skins that tame this big tarp- which makes hanging/packing this tarp easier. Then of course you need stakes for all of these lines.
I like my SuperFly- on some trips it is overkill, but when the weather hits-rain, sleet and snow, I am confident that I will be comfortable and dry
under the protection it affords.
Get out and play with it!

In addition, you might want to check out the tarp setup videos on warbonnet's site.
I'm a big fan of the Stingerz with separate lines on each end of the tarp as well. Recently switched from a CRL and like the separate lines better now.
Brandon recommended I remove the shock cord tensioners from my guylines and use plain zing-it. So I did, and it works fantastically well. Just crank it down real tight to begin with and it will still be quite tight by morning. Saw it in person at the Fall CO hang, or else I might not have believed it. Just crank it down REALLY tight and you'll be good.
i actually recommend no ridge cord at all, just guyline from the end of the tarp to the tree.
the stingers work great, the smaller dutch flyz and tarp key can be threaded directly onto the split ring at each end of the tarp, no need to buy the larger stinger unless you want them for the triangle rings, or want to be able to take them on/off regularly
Cool thanks for all the info peeps! looking forward to trying this stuff! For now, I am off to Linville Gorge with my Sierra Designs Tent fly for a tarp. Lovin-it!
what about using separate lines on the ridge without Dutchware (not in the budget yet)? Are there homemade varieties that have worked for you guys and gals? Or maybe some variation that leaves the separate RL's attached to the tarp? I just received my superfly and spool of zing it and plan on using it next week for 4 days on the river. This thing is suh-weet!
