I was looking into buying a 0 degree under-quilt and a friend suggested I make an under-quilt with M50 fabric for the inside and out. Now after further research it does not seem like the best idea due to compression issues. So my question is how should I customized my under-quilt both inside and out for the northeast winter weather? Thank you for all your help in advance.

Yea I'm not big on the whole DIY stuff, if I were you I would talk to a vendor and ask them. Especially with a quilt, can't be too careful!
