    Storm report

Sandy has passed and JRB stayed dry! Improvements last year to the drainage ditch behind the shop work as expected and we eliminated a repeat of the minor flooding of 18 months ago.

The weekends orders have all processed and shipped...

Note, With the disruptions to major transportation hubs, including Norfolk International and the entire Northeast corridor and thus attendant impact on other areas as they back up while waiting/rerouting shipping times will be delayed some this week...

Hope all are well... Prayers for those still suffering Sandy's impact.

Glad to hear you came through unscathed. Here's to hoping that others have had the same experiences.

The Frankenstorm brought wind, power outages, downed trees and branches, flooded roads, snow, and ice to WV. Governor declared a state of emergency. I-68 closed this morning from Morgantown to Maryland due to icy conditions. Many other roads closed down as well. We were not expecting much in Morgantown, only at higher elevations. We ended up with a layer of snow with ice underneath making it dicey driving to work on untreated roads. We're still getting a light snow. Should stop soon as temps rise.

Glad to hear you made it Pan! I'm contemplating a full-length UQ for colder weather. JRB's on the list as I research.

In Central PA (Lancaster area), the rain/wind was persistent but not as bad as we were led to believe. I was prepared with back up for the sump-pump and generator for the expected week without electricity. We dodged the major thrust of the storm. Not sure how. We were supposed to be right in the path as it made it's way to WV and W. PA.

Hope all is well HC. My parents live in Uniontown, right above you.
