Welcome from the Jersey Shore. I've been doing a lot of hiking/hanging this year so holla if you want to get out. I'm a big fan of the Pine Barrens and can instruct you on the art of getting lost there. Whether day hiking or night hiking, I am the man to teach you how to backtrack when you miss trail blazes and signs, and how to give up entirely and just spend the night where you are rather than get more lost. I am especially adept at hiking down fire breaks thinking they are trails.
