ULA- excellent customer service

I want to thank Chris McMaster at ULA for such great customer service. First he is very responsive to emails! ULA is quite well represented by Hammock Forum members and I had a Catalyst years ago when Brian owned the company. I ordered a CDT pack from them last week and there was some confusion on the size that was sent. When it was determined I needed another size, I offered to pay for the second pack, but Chris said he would just send it to me and then I could return the one I didn't want. I have purchased packs from almost every Cottage manufacturer available and I often have to try on a different size as my torso length is right on the cusp of medium/large and always I have had to buy the second pack and wait for its arrival.

I freely admit to being worried when Brian left/sold ULA. I had visions of an amazing brand being taken in another direction. Not often that I'm happy to be wrong, but based on almost everything I've seen and heard since the transaction, this is one of those times I'm happy to be wrong.

I'll add to the kudos for ULA. Because of all of the great reviews and experiences on this forum with ULA packs and the company in general, I picked up a Circuit and couldn't be happier with it.

I'll add to the praise as well. My Ohm suffered an injury on a trip this past spring. I took a spill and tore the hip belt off my Ohm pack. Chris had me send it back and repaired it free of charge and had it fixed and out the door to me the same day he received it. Repair work made it look good as new. He earned more of my business after that when I purchased a new Catalyst as my cold weather pack. ULA rocks! Textbook example of great customer service.

Although I've been talking about it with him for a little bit, I ordered a custom red ohm 2.0 on MONDAY. Got my shipping notice YESTERDAY showing on schedule delivery for TOMORROW. That's service right there.

I know exactly what you mean. I ordered a custom Catalyst on a Monday morning, Tues it shipped, and I had it in my hands on Thursday! And that was with normal shipping!

My ULA purchase was the fastest delivery I ever had. I talked to Chris at 2:00 in the afternoon, and it was delivered at 11:00 am the following day...Utah to upstate NY
