    I am a carpenter and have tyvek readly available and dont want to use it i dont think it will pack down ,nor do i want a white tarp

    any who i ended up buying 13 yards of ripstop nylon from joann frabrics so im going to make the tarp out of that. fabric is hard to find near me and i dont have the patience to order it online

    i saw that but thats where i found it.. was looking for fabric weights and ran across it ,i didnt even know they made ripstop polyester

    Reading the alibaba link a little further, it states a sample size of 100 meters could be purchased for an $80 surcharge on top of the $2-$3 per meter charge. I am sure a group buy could be organized for anyone interested. At typical 8 yards per tarp, it would only take a dozen or so people wanting to trying this material out.
