    There's a product out there that most HF folk would be wise to carry. It's called Tear-aid. (It's also mentioned in DeJoha's Ultimate Hang book) You can even apply it underwater!Good stuff should a tear happen on the trail where one might not have access to a thread injector or even a hand needle and thread. Might be wise to carry one of those...too! Wouldn't weigh much, but could save going to ground in a tough spot.

    Tear aid is great material and reasonable in price... I always keep a tube in my first aid kit for emergency repairs..

    Was this a tear from defect or normal use?

    I have been a HH fan for a long time but bought my very last Hennessy Hammock about a year ago. Between tarp seam issues, et. al. in addition to issues some of my friends have had with them, I am putting an official end to my relationship with Hennessy.

    I think a Warbonnet sticker would look great on my boat on the next expedition and this year's Everglades Challenge!
