Man that is a lot of pinning!!!
Man that is a lot of pinning!!!
The directional arrows are for me to be able to tell which side of the tape edge to sew the baffle material. This is the first time I've used tape instead of markers - mine disappeared sometime yesterday morn and I haven't found them - so tape it is. I sewed along the edge of the tape - I didn't want tape residue to gum up the needle. Actually the tape makes a good guide that's easy to see under the mesh baffle material. The tape sticks ok to the dwr material but comes off very easily.
Here's a picture of the baffle and tape.
Lost_Biker, do it, baby! That's my plan but I'd love to read yours before I do mine. I'm still waiting on materials and would love to see a comprehensive guide before I start cutting and sewing.
Ok---it's finally the END! I am done with the TQ and UQ and it will be going home to lubbockhammockguy in just a bit. Still gotta pack for the Hoosier hang.
I had to leave the footbox open as Jason wouldn't be able to get the down in the baffles if I did. I pinned the footbox for him so he can see what it will look like. Dimensions ended up as 74x62 - 62 wide as he can sew the foot box to what he wants. The dimensions will change when he stuffs the down. He can also cut down the edges a bit if it's too wide. Pinned altogether it comes up above my nose. God, I hope it fits him!
Some of my seams aren't exactly show quality - sorry.
Anyhow - to the last of the pictures!
