Looking at getting a MacCat Micro Spinntex for summer. Anyone ever used one with an ENO singlenest.

I guess it's gonna depend on how much sag you put into it. The micro is a small tarp, really small. I've never used one and I've only seen one in use, but the margin for error is gonna be slight unless you really bow the hammock. Then, you still have very little side coverage.

If you are a minimalist, it'll probably work for you. The standard size would be as small as I would recommend to most people. Good way to spend an extra $30 or so upgrading to the standard.

See this is where im stuck. I have serious lung deformities that keep me from hiking as much as I'd like. The hangout this weekend im pushing 35 pounds and that is way more than I'd carry for any distance. For me every ounce does matter, but I see what your saying about the side coverage, guess ill just have to see about checking them out in person

    Small Tarp

You could contact Brian to custom make you a small tarp .... measure your hammock length while hung at the ridgeline and use that as your length.
Here are some pix of my favorite tarp that I made as I wanted minimal weight and good coverage for mild weather. It weighs 15oz. with lines and all. Ends will close. I love this tarp!!!!

I would add at least 18" to the hammock's ridgeline length to get the tarp's ridgeline length. You'll want some overlap at the ends.
