    Regarding the pole mod, I have one minor concern though, If it gets REALLY cold, does the CPVC become brittle?
    Perhaps one of our contractor or plumbing members might be able to chime in on this?

    Cpvc is less susceptible to temperature changes than regular PVC... But saying that, all materials get more brittle the colder the get... I don't think its enough to matter unless your going well beyond below freezing... But still something to keep in mind... If your going that far down, you should spend a little more money on your kit to make sure it takes care of you...

    They were fine down to 26 degrees the other night...plus they really don't have much flex to them when deployed. I would be interested in knowing what temp they fail at...but in Tennessee we don't get much truly cold weather anyway.
