So, I have decided that I want a 30 degree Hammock Gear Incubator. My problem is I can't decide if I should go with a 40* + 2oz of down or a 20* -2oz of down. Now I know I could just go with a 20* but i'm stubborn and just curious to see what you guys this would be the lightest/most packable way to do this.

I want the same thing! You really don't need to think too hard about it. Give Adam a call and he'll tell you what you need and set you up right. If you want to save weight go with a quilt cut to your size and made with lighter fabric. Get the right amount of down then you won't have to worry about over/under stuff. Let me know what you end up with.

If your set on hammockgear, dont compromise with an understuffed quilt. Have it custom made. A custom quilt will be lighter and warmer than an overstuffed 40 or understuffed 20.
But if it were me, Id go for a 40 overstuffed. I prefer the 'full' feel rather than just enough down to make it loft properly.
I recently bought a 40 degree Phoenix with 2 oz. overstuff from another HF member. I haven't been able to try it yet, but I'm guessing it will be about a 30ish degree UQ. I'm a late spring to early fall hanger, and 5 ft. 5.5 inches tall, so I'm thinking this Phoenix will be perfect. I had a 20 degree Incubator for awhile but it was overkill for what I needed.
