I lived in Glenwood Springs for the last 12 years. Just moved back to Arkansas a few months ago. Road that trail weekly. The hike up to Hanging Lake is amazing!
Thanks for the memories. It makes me a little sad that I'll likely never see hanging lake again and that I never made it to the summit of Mt. Sopris.
Enjoyed reading about your trip report. I grew up about an hour west of Glenwood Springs. We'd occassionally went to the hot springs ... good memories.
