Undercovers and overcovers questions?????

I saw, a wile back, the overcover and underfly shown on just jeffs web page, and was thinking of making them, and using them to make a completely waterproof shell for my HH, but I'm unsure of the materials and dimensions needed, so i posted this to get the conversation going, and to get some ideas.

I was thinking of a slight overlap of the underfly and overcover, to keep it from dumping water into the hammock, and so a gap can be left so that i dont suffocate, and making the underfly big enough for a uq

I'd recommend using untreated ripstop nylon for breathability otherwise in the right conditions you are going to have a wet greenhouse in your hammock.
