Ok, so tarp rigging has never been my strong suit, and I dont like knots. im lazy, and weight really isnt a concern so things like dutch gear etc are fine by me.
I have on the way (im so excited too BTW) a UGQ WD12, with my custom Zombie specs.
I need to figure out rigging. on all my tarps to date ive used the dutch 2 line system (tarp to tree, tarp to tree using flies or a combination of flies and something else...i forget) and thats served me well, but Ive got 2 concerns with this new tarp:
issue 1: i would like for it to be easy as possible to setup, which includes adjusting side to side. the current setup needs me to loosen one side, which usually drops down the tree some, in order to move it over.
issue 2: with the 2 line setup, all the pressure is on the tie outs on the RL. in my misguided head, that leads me to believe that this method would lend itself to undue wear and tear. id like to minimize that
my needs are, well, specific. i want the system to be able to give me headroom and minimize stooping when its up but weather is good.
let me know some things i can do to make setup a breeze, line and hardware!
