    Squirrel leads to hammock FAILURE!

I work third shift and was rudely awoken this morning by a knock at the door, then realized how beautiful it was out side so I grabbed the first hammock I could find (DIY Tablecloth I made for my wife) and headed into backyard to finish getting some good sleep. My dog decided to join me.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1351203677.680835.jpg
Shortly after taking this photo a squirrel decided to jump onto the apple tree I was attached to and my dog dug his claws in and jumped from hammock to chase squirrel and I made a trip to the ground. Luckily I wasn't very far off the ground.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1351203863.921061.jpg
Lesson learned Tablecloth is not rip stop and dog is not allowed on anymore. So I went inside and found my DIY tablecloth with sewn in footboxImageUploadedByTapatalk1351204029.869650.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1351204050.752686.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1351204071.871716.jpg and decided to mess with ridge line a little thought I had a good length but found perfect one today and slept for a few more hours with my dog laying under me now.

It is no secret that I hate squirrels! I'm sorry for your loss.

You got by cheap. Several years ago a squirrel chewed the wires off flush to the fuel pump on my pickup. I was not a happy camper as I called for a tow truck.

Actually she hasn't gotten into hanging yet I ordered the two at the same time hoping I would be able to convert her, but she still like the tent. I have been able to use for another friend of mine when we went to West Virginia (Dolly Sods) a few weeks ago, and he is now looking into hammocks and the two other guys that went were intrigued.
