It's horrible! In fact you should ditch it right now. If you need someone to take it off your hands I could be persuaded to deal with the problems that it creates!

As you probably have seen in your scout troop, gear goes in waves: knives, multitools. I see the scouts flocking to one or another tool. Then two months later moving to the next. I am not that rich. If it is working for me I generally stick with it.

I think I'm one of the very few that didn't love the Ridgerunner. Just hang lefty. It will save you from a lot of going back and forth with hammocks.

I'll be selling mine soon too and these both are exactly the same reasons I'm going with. Nothing wrong with it just wanna try the RR and have to sell to afford it.

Well then as everyone begins to upgrade to the WBRR, I'll save my pennies and grab a WBBB from the for sale thread.

I know one day I will get a WBRR, but not just yet. I have too many to choose from already. I will have to sell off a few before I get the WBRR. I do like that Darien UL from PapaSmurf though. I need something lightweight.

Pretty much the same reason I've stuck with my GTUL. I did upgrade my tarp though. The Harborfreight tarp was 2 lbs and I'm try to shed pack weight.

    It isn't the first time.

Simply put, there are a lot of Blackbirds out there. Every now and again, there seem to be a run on people selling them. Many of those reasons are pointed out in this thread and I think the RR is probably the biggest factor right now. I find it exceptionally comfortable, but I still ain't selling any of my Birds.

I am not selling my BB dbl 1.1
I have yet to find a finer flying mattress for me- and yes I have tried the WBRR, JRBBridge, various HH & Papa Smurfs new ultralite.

I am most tempted by Papa Smurfs newest ultralite. The feature set is superb and it is comfortable...it approaches a nice balance on all fronts.

Keep selling that lightly used gear- I am looking for those summer TQ/UQ's to go on sale this winter & fall.
