    I had the same issue, mine was the figure 9 the zing it would slowly slip through the figure 9. I solved it with an extra wrap through the brake followed by a slippery half hitch. Then I moved on to a Dutch fly but the extra wrap around and slippery half hitch should work

    I forgot about that slippery half hitch. Mine always slipped without it when using Figure 9s.

    I'm switched to the klemheist. It seems faster, easier and it has held better than the prusek. The cam lock didn't work for me either.

    I think the 4-turn Prusik is nicer looking and easier to adjust.
    But when it absolutely, positively has to hold overnight,.....Klemheist!

    Great ideas from everyone! Just waiting for daylight so I can go play some more. Next step is getting the side guyouts even and more edge tieouts so I can configure some end doors or partial closures.
    Determined to get all the bugs worked out before my first "official" group hang (winter!).
