Its a very popular hammock for many folks here. The hammock though won't keep you warm, start looking at under insulation options as well, pads, under quilts so on and so forth.

Very popular hammock choice and still a go-to for me. But lots of great choices out there.
+1 on Paul saying you need to look at insulation for your hammock to keep warm.

Welcome!
A Blackbird was my first purchase earlier this year and I have no regrets.
If you aren't in a hurry I'd recommend going to a group hang in your area (post here and ask if anyone in Indiana knows of any) and try a number of different styles/brands to see what suits you. If that isn't an option, a blackbird or dream hammock dangerbird would be my two recommendations. You can't go wrong with either.
Ditto to what others have said about insulation. Do some research on quilts on this site. It's a great resource.

Well you are headed in the right direction, the WBBB is my 6th hammock and the best one yet! Second the insulation tips from above...
You can't go wrong with a black bird but warmth is a whole other subject; pads or an UQ and something on top like a TQ or sleeping bag used like a Top Quilt. I will say that there are cheaper options out there that are as comfortable. You need to decide if you want an integrated bug net or not. It's convenient to have one but not essential and not necessary in cold weather.
Go for it and start reading about pads and under quilts for staying warm.

As others have said the BB is a great hammock ( I own 3 ) but not every one likes them as there is no one perfect hammock for everyone...weight, height ect are all factors. If you can attend a group hang to check out a variety of setups. Also you will need a pad or UQ to help stay warm and of the two UQ's are much more comfortable to use.

for my first hammock i was going to go with a Hennessy but there was a problem with them and my credit card, so i ended up going with a WBBB and made my own tarp, i have no regrets so far
also im too cheap to buy a good under quilt so i ended up getting a lamb skin rug to put in my hammock its a bit on the heavy side but i dont care as long as im warm
happy hanging
I bought a 1.1 WBBB Dbl about 4 weeks ago and have slept in it about 12 times already. I use a $12 walmart blue pad and a 40 degree sleeping bag. I LOVE IT!
The coldest temp I have been to so far is 38 and I got just a tad chilly. I have been perfectly warm to 45. I want to get a nice underquilt at some point but don't have the funding right now... If you have any specific questions about the BB just PM me. I love to talk about it and I know how hard it is to pull the trigger on a $180 hammock!
Also, The bug netting seems to hold a few degrees of heat in.. I can feel a bit of extra chill when I unzip.
