Hammock Hung on top of Blood Mountain

Man, what a awesome place to hang a hammock. Found a place on top you could prolly hang 5 hammocks. The sunrise and set set views were amazing along with fall colors. This from last weekend.

Beautiful pics, thanks for posting. At 4:35 it almost looked like the ocean with huge menacing waves approaching. But the serenity of the photo quickly drew me back to a gorgeous mountain range. Glad you got out with your brother.

I was at Gooch shelter last weekend and I was told that on Blood, the bears walk around with hiking poles and will eat your food in your hammock and leave you out in the cold.

Now that was a great way to start the day (5:22 am)! It made me want to change my plans for the day and instead, go find me a mountain somewhere! I’m not sure if it was a relaxing video, or a depressing one. While I sit here and think about it, thanks for the video, Reeper!

Nice pix. I'm really glad you got the good weather. Now it's rainy (snow flurries expected) and really windy.
