Hello there, How do I tell where my moved thread was placed?
What was the name of the thread,
It could of been moved into the donating members section depending on the topic?
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.
Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
It was " base layer clothing"
Yeah, it's in the Clothing section of the Donating Members area.
I used to be a somebody, now I just camp.
Does that mean I must donate to see the thread?
'fraid so. I donated soon after joining. It's $10, and opens up cutlery, camp kitchen, clothing, and more useful threads, as well as a roundtable off-topic forum.
$10 gets you a year of that, so it's worth it in my opinion. If you can't afford it (and trust me, I almost couldn't), you can wait until your post count hits 50 and then claim one of the Donating Member donations in Pay It Forward (make sure you read and understand the rules if you go this route).

yes, technically. all threads not directly related to hammocks are relegated to the awesome place that is the Donating Members Off Topic Forums.

Yes, topics that aren't hammock related get moved to the donating member section. The DM section (as it is called) encompasses many topics unrelated to hammocks. Donating is always voluntary of course. The DM IS where your post got moved to.
