Noobie from the UK

Hi all, just a quick intro and hello from a new member.

I'm a keen outdoorsman and enjoy camping, bushcrafting, being a Scout Leader, archery and canoeing.

My hammocking has evolved over the years with me starting with a DD, then a HH Asym Deluxe and now a UKHammocks custom made. Having said that, I'm never happy with my set up and have just ordered a Blackbird dl1.1 and am looking forward to trying it soon.

I hammock all year round with the Scouts, some of who are also getting into hammocks.

Tarp wise, I use a variety of them, depending on what style of camping I'm doing. They range from a Tatonka TC1 (4.5 x 4.5m polycotton) through DD Tarp XL to my winter tarp of choice being a Warbonnet Superfly.

I'm hoping to learn a lot from the experienced members on here, so will be starting with a look through the forum threads.
