    Question Looking to do CHEAP. What I have is......

    2 mummy bags, 1 Kelty 0* and 1 North Face Cat's Meow 20*. I older 50 * bag, rectangular and a queen size wool blanket. Where will this bring me down to???

    The kelty bag and cats meow will get you into the 30's. How you hang the bags under you will have almost as much to do with warmth as the bag itself though.

    If you were to physically lay on the kelty and meow, with blankets on you, 30's wouldnt be out of the question.

    If you layer the big bags as under quilts and pile the blackets on top, you may see 20.

    A 15$ walmart blue foam sleeping pad would greatly help your chances of staying warm on the cheap too.

    If you have to carry all that very far in a backpack it will bring you to your knees!!!..... Sorry, I just couldn't hold back.LOL
