    What about whoopie?

Like so many others, I stumbled onto this site looking for camping gear. Very intriguing. Might just be the answer. Sounds like couples hang separately instead of trying to double up, and that ladies use larger tarps or gear tents for changing, etc. Sounds reasonable. So my wife asked this question...I haven't seen anyone discuss it. What about whoopie?

Well, we have whoopie slings- but they are for something different. We try for a family friendly atmosphere here, so that's why it's not discussed. Years ago this was much discussed over at WhiteBlaze, if you wanted to dig around the archives there.

You'd need extra strong suspension for the dynamic forces involved.

Wrong forum for that...but....I have stumbled across the HammockSutra while searching the net. Some very interesting ideas there

As was mentioned....you would need some pretty good suspension.
