What is the best way to hang to help eliminate calf pressure? Wasn't so bad until I started using an UQ, now without a pad I notice it. Should I hang it with more sag?

That's what usually accomplishes it for me. But honestly since I've been using 11' hammocks I've not had an issue with calf pressure.

Calf pressure has been a huge topic here on the forums. Letting your ridgeline out a bit will help...but I'm with Hawk-eye and have a 12' hammock and no ridgeline to speak of....but then I never experienced it in the Eno DN either.
....I have a ridgeline that is 83%, I meant that I don't have a ridge under my calf Sorry.
I'm as bad as Acer and his wedgies You were right on the ball with that one gmcttr!

+1 on 11 foot hammock.
On my ENO DN, I made the mini spreader bar modification to increase the apparent length of the hammock, and it helped quite a bit!... but I still often throw a prolite sit pad
under my calves in that set-up.
Here's just a few threads to get you started: http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...=calf+pressure

11' hammock and 83% of the length to start your RL out with,,and if that doesn;t work,,let it out a inch or so at a time and see how the lay is. Going to the Bridge hammock totally got rid of it for me,,but I always enjoyed my 11' hammocks as well. Happy hanging.
