Sierra Designs Solar Down or GoLite 1 season quilt

I am torn between two different options here. I have a SB Pro Hammock with Superfly and no sew PLUQ with an exped 7 sleep pad. I also a ECW millitary bag, the black one. I am looking for something much lighter than the ECW bag but have limited resources. I am looking between these two options the SD Solar Down bag, came across it at ****'s Sporting Goods for 89.99 or the Go Lite UltraLite 800 Fill 1-Season Quilt (Long) for 119.99. I also do some tent camping with my son and the Cub Scouts. Does anyone have any experience with these two options and what might be better for me? Most of the camping I do is in the fall and spring in Ohio.

I'd go with the quilt, if it were me. More flexibility for use on the ground and in the hammock. It's rating isn't quite as low, but the GoLite quilt (at 40 deg) will probably go a little lower than it's rated and the SD bag probably won't go as low as it is (at 20 deg)...

It also depends on your sleep comfort level. If you like a little more room, the quilt will be better. I have the 3 season GoLite quilt and like it a lot.

As a suggestion, when you go with the Cub Scouts, you could consider throwing together a few hammock stands and have your son sleep in a hammock next to you!
