Sorry forgot to post. It has been warm here, but there is still plenty of snow for the sleds. I checked the small lake by me today and it had between 8 to 10 inches of ice.
Forgot to mention it is pouring here right now so watch the roads tomorrow. Ill post again in the morning what the snow looks like.

I got some extra spikes for you hikingdad. I will be leaving between 7 and 8am. Also with 8-10 inches of ice I may just pack the auger after all. See you all on the trail.

Yeah the other half is deciding what to leave in your car when you get out there and realize your sled weighs more than you do. I have always just tossed my pack in the sled which kept the weight waaaay down. This time I used a tarp to wrap over everything so I decided to just go all out.
