I'm finally able to give you guys the official go ahead. I will probably reach the parking lot around 7:15-7:30.

Now I need to go buy a sled and some spikes..

Sorry to say there might nor be any snow by Saturday. So my plan is to boil and strain (if needed) lake water.

Does anyone need directions to the parking area?

Its fairly obvious. There is a color map of the wilderness area at the trailhead. Also my truck will be parked there. Blue Ford w/ black ladder rack.

As of today I am still planning on making this hang. If there is enough snow to bring the sled, I have extra ice fishing gear I can bring along including 3 tip-ups, and 3 ice fishing poles. I have a relatively new hand auger and a scoop. Obviously I have a bit more than is needed for just one person. Would anyone going on this hang be interested in using any of my extra gear. I thought I would ask before hauling it all out there. It sounds like there is a lot of potential for good fish. Does anyone want to bring some minnows?
