Hi all, new guy from WI. Just started getting interested in hanging after watching some videos and my gf just got me an ENO singlenest. I have known this was the place to go to for hmmk questions, so I figured I'd start here. Already eyeing up a WBBB and superfly for me and momma.

lots and lots of info. search is your friend. look at the "stickys" for starters. anything else give us a shout. Great world to be apart of. Best forum to be a part of....hands down. (jmo...but I like my opinion :-) )

My first recommendation - go to a group hang in your area (even if you don't stay overnight) and try multiple hammocks to see which you'll like the most. I have a WBBB, so you can't go wrong there, but it's also worth trying a bridge style (like the Warbonnet RidgeRunner) or a longer hammock (like the Dream Hammock's Dangerbird) or any number of others. That way, you can buy your favorite first and then purchase additional ones from there...
