hammock sock ...again

Been readin' so much my eyes hurt, hahah. So Im to the point I want a hammock sock. I have some .9oz dwr from owfinc for the bottom and some 1.0 pure finish for the sides. Easy enough right?

I wanna do a "hangnout/mollymac/seep/deep style top. and the rest is just normal I guess.

I plan to allow for all my girth...going to cut from the bottom on a 20° +/- like Fronkey does his bug nets. Ill sew up those sides leaving a gap for the suspension....right? Thats where I lose it. I cant tell from the pics/vid what is going on. then aftwr the suspension holes/feed throughs how does the shockcord attach? Do I just sew it in the hem like a big stuff sack end that runs behind the suspension and pull it tight? Will that give me what I need to pull it down to the side for entry?

Man, Im lost.

Any help is appreciated. Or a point in the right direction/ thread if I missed would be much appreciated.

Look for the TED Bugnet thread. It's for a net but it is also being used to make socks. I plan to make one as soon as I stay out of the woods long enough to do it.
