thing is, its going to norway, i fear it will be some time yet before its here. Checked USPS now, and of all the places in the world, its now in San Francisco!??

Can anyone tell me if this is a "normal" route for this kind of shipment?

I can understand if its meant to cross past russia, but i would surely think the shortest way is from the east coast... but, what do i know...

Maybe warbonnetguy made a mistake and sent me a TRAVELER instead of a blackbird... haha

anyway, looking forward to the final arrival of my new BB & Yeti!
Don't stress it my friend, I thought the same thing when my BB ended up in SF, when there are far more direct routes to Ontario. It ended up crossing the border in Vancouver and was here in short order. USPS routes are just confusing.

I was in the same situation. Thankfully, it didn't rain much until I got the cord to tie out the tarp!

Redden Marine has zing-it for sale at $21 for 180 ft. Toss in the 'hammockforums' discount code and it's a better deal than any of the other vendors.

Ordered June 30, still no shipping notice :/
I may be dumb, but at least I'm ugly!

I've done so much, with so little, for so long, now I can do anything with nothing.

I ordered the BB 1.7 DL XLC and much to my surprise it arrived earlier this week. Came in less than a week, which is awesome. I have a trip planned for next weekend in the Adirondacks that I was planning on tenting. Now I can hang in style. Looking forward to my first outing.

Thanks for the heads up. Gave me an excuse to buy some more. Never too much zing it around.

That's crazy! What a blessing...now you need to try extra hard to appreciate it cause the wait didn't build up the suspense LOL.

1.75 is fine. It's still pretty easy to splice and is plenty strong for tarps. The tarp will probably fail before the zing-it will..
