    7/64 will suffice. It has a 1600lb breaking strength roughly.

    You will want to use spur grommets. Sew a re-inforcement to give a good thickness for the teeth to bite into. I like to fold 2 inch webbing around the corner, sew it down, then cut the hole for the grommet. Unfortunately, the spur grommet must be set with a special tool.

    Yeah I looked at those but at the time I didn't like the way they cut into the fabric. thats why Im going with my new ideas of creating a transition piece between the suspension webbing and the rope in the triangle.

    this buckle idea has already been demonstrated to work quite well - on the Warbonnet Ridgerunner.

    I didn't have a great picture of it, but here's a decent-ish crop out of a much larger picture.

    Oh yeah, Im by no means the first one. I saw it first on one of grizzly's videos. I just put it on the computer so I could have it water jetted.

    I'll admit to not having followed the grizz bridge stuff very closely over the last few years, so the Ridgerunner was the first time I remembered seeing the idea in action.
