To all of you, I wish to express my deepest appreciation for all your comments, hints, and experiences. In the first draft of this post, I tried to identify all the things I appreciate from this forum, and it simply went on too long. To keep this short, let me say that you've helped me identify what I want in a hammocking system, and have guided me past many mistakes.
Your dedication to the forum and willingness to help your fellow hangers is GREATLY appreciated.

Whatever version of the holidays you celebrate, I wish you all the blessings of the season.

That's what I really like about this forum - all the members are helpful and don't bash each other's ideas. Even disagreements are generally low-key and tend to end up as "You're sleeping in it and carrying it, so do what works for you" rather than what you find on many other sites, like "Why the #&!! would you do that?! My way is so much better!" We have some awesome members here, and lots of creativity...and that's what makes a pleasant experience. I think it's b/c hammockers are so much more relaxed than everyone else!
