I am new to HH and to the forums. I've read around and I am considering getting the Safari to support my size 6'2" and weight 315. I asked and the super shelter doesnt fit the Safari so I am wondering what is the best way to stay warm without spending a fortune. I will be camping mostly in Virginia with the coldest temps likely in the 20's, but not very often. Mostly in the 40's and up. Any suggestions would be a big help.

If you're trying to go the cheapest route, using pads is probably the best approach at those temps. I would take a close look at a Speer SPE, as it would allow you to use pads inside a HH and aid in staying on them while you move about in the hammock.

The least expensive way to keep warm is a pad under you and a sleeping bag. You may already have these items. It isn't the most comfortable but it beats the ground. You can also convert a sleeping bag into an underquilt. If you can sew it opens up more options. Making a synthetic UQ is pretty easy and inexpensive.

If you happen to have a vey large sleeping bag ( say, 72" girth or wider), you might be able to fashion it into a PeaPod. Someone here just did that with an Exped Wallcreeper and I think it worked quite well.
But not with a Hennessy.
