Me and my boy went camping with some of my KungFu buddies last weekend. It was my son's first time sleeping in a hammock. He slept like a rock. I was a few feet away in my Blackbird. Neither one of us have UQs, we both used the heavy space tarps on the bottom and slept on top of ThermoRest pads,and slept in our sleeping bags. It got into the 40's, but we were warmer then the guys sleeping in tents. I woke up sweaty at one point. It was a good time and I was proud of my boy for braving it alone. He surprises me everyday.
