Temps got down to -14C this weekend. I've got a 2" self inflating air mattress that i stuck inside one of my sons little sleeping bags ( turned inside out so the soft inner material was on my back instead of that polyester shell ) and it worked great! Thought id have a freezing butt for sure. Cheap insulation idea if you're in a fix.

No not at all that i found, perhaps the inside out sleeping bag absorbed some if there was any but i didn't feel damp at all so i don't think so.
